ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Department of French held a cultural festival (Signing and Poem C
ompetition) in collabora
tion with the French Embassy (Culture Office) and National University of Modern Languages (NUML).
French Embassy Cultural Councilor Andre De Bussy attended the event as chief guest.
The students of AIOU French Department excelled in all the c
ompetitions and won most of the prizes. In singing c
ompetition (solo) AIOU got the 1st and 2nd prize.
In singing c
ompetition (Group), AIOU got the 1st prize. In poem c
ompetition (Level 1), AIOU got the 1st and 3rd prize. In Quiz c
ompetition (Level 1), AIOU got the 2nd prize and in Skit c
ompetition AIOU got the 2nd prize.
De Bussy
highly appreciated the rich talents of the Pakistani students and their thrust of lea
rning French. He said he was
highly impressed by the per
formance of the students.
