The Ehsaas programme is nothing but a political dramatization. If the aid had been provided through Benazir Income Support Programme then why there is a need of wasting time in collecting information in 20 days of lockdown. Gujranwala district management and government party have been collecting information for many days and aid is provided through Benazir Income Support Programme. These thoughts are expressed by People’s Party Information Secretary Sagheer Butt while speaking in a conference. At this occasion, People’s Party Vice President Rana Haneef, President Trader Wing Zulfikar Bhutto, Abdullah Zubair, Umer Saleem, Yasir Butt, Shabeer Komboh, Imran Mehar, Chand Gujjer and many others were also there. Sagheer butt said at this time of crisis government is just busy in taking political revenge. Federal ministers are also busy to conduct press conference to criticize Peoples Party and do number scoring. No one worry about poor people. At this time of crisis, government wants to change the name of income support programme which a selected prime minister had already promised with his party. Benazir Income Support Programme is permitted by parliaments and supported by global monetary departments. In which, a complete information about the needy people is present. He said government had announced to give aid to needy people. And government officials were busy in collecting information. About 86 thousands people’s data has been collected but aid is provided to only 35 thousands needy people who hold income support programme cards. These were also included in aid program. Government would inform about when they will give aid to these people whose data had been collected. Government would give Rs 12000 aid to needy people so that they would run their homes expenditures for 4 months. Government should increase aid money and also better the system of distribution. Besides this, government must give relieve to public on electricity and gas bills. And relieve would also be given to industrial and commercial consumers. People party is providing aid to needy on the recommendation of People’s Party Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto without any publicity.
