KARACHI: Education activist and youngest-Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai on Thursday showed her interest in reading the book &ls
quo;Durrand Line ka Qaidee’ (Prisoner of Durrand Line), written by a Karachi-based journalist.
This journalist was captured by
the Afghanistan’s law-enforcement agencies when he attempted to cross
the Afghan border in 2014 to interview leaders of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) without a visa. Malala thanked Khan on Twitter for sending the book and expressed best wishes for him. Khan wrote back about Malala and discussed exclusive information regarding the book
with her.
